ASB Leadership/Executive Council Feedback - Traditions

We all love traditions. We love continuing them by making them even grander, we love making new ones to leave our legacies. Of course, like nicknames, traditions can't be forced. It has to be embraced and empowered via the masses. What kind of traditions, whether within our leadership/EC teams or whole school, should continue? You can also email me your thoughts.

ASB Leadership/Executive Council Feedback - Communication

There are varying methods of communication for leadership and executive council. This includes emails via Google Groups, Facebook messenger, texting, and more. Consider that not all have every form of communication, and an ultimate goal is timely communication in terms of expectations of reading/response. Most teams in executive council have their own emails as well, though it is unknown if all members of the team have access to said email. How should leadership communicate effectively? You can also email me your thoughts.

ASB Leadership Feedback - Class Structure

Leadership 3rd period gives students 225 minutes per week for sharing, communication, individual work time, group work time, leadership development, updates, collaboration, and much more. While 225 minutes may sound like a lot, it can go by very fast. In general, agenda items are added by students to whichever day they feel appropriate. Staples include ASBO and Commission Updates on Monday, leadership development on Thursdays, and Buddy Activities on Fridays. Popcorn Announcements are daily. How would you like to see the structure of the days/weeks/months to remain or change? Should there be other "staple"-type items? You can also email me your thoughts.

Kindness Week Feedback

Hello shmello! Since Kindness Week was last week, it would be great to get your feedback about how the week went and whether anything should be continued or improved (this can be general or very specific). As a recap, here's what we did: themed daily kindness challenges (graphics posted on Instagram and Facebook) Monday: whiteboards for self-love Tuesday: free hugs/high-fives Wednesday: kindness wall where people can write shout-outs on sticky notes Thursday: passed out "I Love LHS Staff" stickers before school This Friday (5/10) some Homerooms will also be participating in making placemats for Meals on Wheels, so feel free to comment on that once the activity passes! Thanks!! Rawr-cognition <3
